The Vienna Prater with its Giant Ferris Wheel is one of the landmarks of the city. It was erected at the 50th Jubilee of Emperor Franz Joseph the 1st. From a height of almost 65 m you have an unique view over Vienna. Next thing is to have a ride with the Fiaker, whatever that is. Actually it’s a horse driven cab, which takes you around a lot of interesting sights in the cultural center of Vienna. You should visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral, as well as the Imperial Palace (Hofburg), and the Albertina with its graphic library. Another attraction is the Belvedere castle. Here in 1955 the treaty was presented to the jubilating Viennese.

The world-famous Viennese hospitality and the Austrian cuisine gives you momentum and strength again for further discoveries. Let’s put a list here: the Schoenbrunn Palace, the Museum of Cultural History, the Museum of Nature History, the Spanish Riding School, Karlskirche, Ruprechtskirche (yes, there are a lot of churches here in Vienna), the Kärntnerstraße, Graben, Kohlmarkt and Mariahilferstrasse with its many, many shops and stores.

Music lovers from different corners of the world will certainly attend concerts of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Ensemble of the Vienna State Opera and the Concentus Musicus by Nikolaus Harnoncourt. A very special event is the Vienna Opera Ball. The Viennese theater, the Opera and far more theaters will present a wide range of operas, musicals, plays and outstanding theater arts.
